IMPORTANT STUDENT ADVICE

From March 1st, 2026, refresher courses for BWTM and TC will increase to 1.5 days under MRWA requirements, as they now include two new units of competency.

Students should prepare ahead of time and complete these units early. By enrolling in a 1‑day course now, you can gain the required competencies in advance and cut down the time of your upcoming refresher.

Act early – etting these units now means shorter refresher training.

Course Outcomes

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the following units:

  • RIIWHS206 – Control traffic with portable traffic control devices and temporary traffic signs
  • RIIWHS303 – Position, set up and program portable traffic control devices

These units form part of the Main Roads WA Traffic Controller Accreditation.
