WTA announces its first Co-Partnership

Who would be best suited to train the next generation of personnel in your industry?

At WTA we believe the above question can be answered in two parts.

  1. Industry leaders who have vast knowledge and experience in their chosen field, who have spent years mastering and honing their skill set to deliver the best possible outcome for the task at hand.
  2. Industry leaders who do not sacrifice safety or quality in any task performed.

WTA is proud to announce that our first co-partner is Warp Training Queensland (WTQ).

WTQ has been founded off the industry experience and expertise of Arid to Oasis Traffic Solutions. Arid to Oasis have been in operation in Northern Queensland since 2008 and in that time have completed major projects such as, but not limited to, the Stage 4 Townsville Ring road upgrade, which was completed 6 months ahead of schedule, as well as the Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements after the devastating events of cyclone Yasi in February of 2011. Playing such a vital role in projects such as these has given all personnel invaluable experience in the traffic management field as well as ensuring the safety of all road users in emergency situations.

From this knowledge and experience coupled with an auspice agreement with WTA, WTQ was born. WTQ began delivering TMR Traffic Management Implementation & Traffic Control courses, as well as refresher courses throughout the Northern Queensland region with a focus on the safety of all personnel involved with the works whilst covering the individual challenges of the industry. Within WTQ’s first three months of operation, WTQ were officially recognised by the Traffic Management Association of Australia as a preferred supplier of traffic management training in QLD; a fantastic achievement at such an early stage of operation.

In addition, WTQ is currently working closely with WTA to design and deliver nationally accredited training courses for the civil construction industry which will deliver real world value to the industry moving forward. The first of these courses are:

  • Provide First Aid
  • Provide Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety

WTA is proud to announce our co-partnership with WTQ as an opportunity to increase the level of training, skills and knowledge in the civil construction industry throughout the great state of Queensland.
