Operate Small Plant and Equipment

This unit covers the skills and knowledge required by the student to operate a piece of small plant and equipment that may be used in all forms of Construction (Civil and Building). This course covers the process of inspections of small plant and equipment before and after use, as well as the safe operations of the equipment, to prevent injury to the worker.
This course will include both a theory and a practical component.
The practical component of this course will be face to face using a (using a quick cut saw or other small plant / equipment) that is used onsite. Course numbers have been restricted in order to allow for social distancing.
Upon successful completion, students will be issued with a nationally recognised ID card and a Statement of Attainment for the following unit:

Warp Training Australia conducts courses in Operate small plant and equipment
on any week day between Monday to Friday except public holidays.
Extra courses may be scheduled due to demand.
WTA also cater to companies or groups wanting to conduct a private training course, either at your suitable training venue or at our training premises.
8:00am – 4:00pm
Students are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled course start time, late attendees may be rejected from the course. They also need to wear steel toe books and work pants and shirt.
The Construction Training Fund (CTF) provides a subsidy of $210.00 for eligible students.
The Construction Training Fund provides funding support for training of eligible workers in the construction industry. We acknowledge the support of the Construction Training Fund in reducing the costs of the training for eligible workers.

To secure your spot in any of our courses, you are required to enrol online and complete payment for the course. Once this is received, your spot in the course will be confirmed and you will receive a booking confirmation.
